Citroën has revealed the New C4 and C4 X at the Paris Motor Show. These updated C-segment saloon vehicles prioritize comfort and space, featuring a redesigned front end with the new logo, advanced onboard comfort, Citroën Advanced Comfort® suspension, spacious interiors, and nearly 20 driving assistance technologies. The models offer a range of powertrains, including Hybrid and electric versions, reflecting Citroën’s commitment to electrification.

DESIGN: KEEPING IT BOLD AND MAKING IT SIMPLER

The new Citroën C4 and C4 X feature a redesigned front end with Citroën's new logo and slim LED headlamps. The rear has been simplified for aerodynamic efficiency. The 18-inch 'Amber' wheels contribute to improved fuel efficiency, and new color options include 'Manhattan Green' and 'Eclipse Blue' alongside existing choices.

AN UNRIVALLED DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Winning combination: New Citroën Advanced Comfort® seats and suspension

The redesigned Advanced Comfort® seats feature 15mm thicker foam, textured foam for dynamic comfort, and improved support for postural comfort. Combined with Advanced Comfort® suspension, these seats offer absolute comfort by using Progressive Hydraulic Cushions to absorb road imperfections.

The latest-generation infotainment system and new 7-inch digital handset

The dashboard has been upgraded, introducing an all-new 7-inch HD instrument cluster on the PLUS and MAX trim levels, complementing the 10-inch touchscreen. This digital instrument cluster is designed for clarity and intuitive information display, supported by a colour head-up display. The New C4 and C4 X offer the latest infotainment system with connected 3D navigation, natural voice recognition, and a digital assistant activated by the 'Hello Citroën' command.

Technology for peace of mind

The New C4 and C4 X feature up to 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to enhance road safety, including Active Safety Brake, Collision Risk Alert, Highway Driver Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Reversing camera with Top Rear Vision, Vision 360, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, coffee break alert, driver attention alert, automatic high beam, extended speed sign recognition, and speed recommendations.

V2L: Optimising energy use

Vehicle-to-load technology enables an electric vehicle to supply electricity to external devices, transforming the car into a mobile, flexible power source. V2L is particularly useful in situations where access to an energy source is limited, such as when travelling or doing outdoor activities. This function will be available on New ë-C4 and ë-C4 X.

Space on board

New C4 is a versatile compact hatchback with practical dimensions and a spacious interior:
- Wheelbase: 267cm, providing 19.8cm of rear knee room, best in class.
- Exterior width: 180cm, comfortably accommodating three rear passengers.
- 380-litre boot with low, flat loading sill (71.5cm) and straight sides.
- Two-position boot floor for a maximum volume of 1250 litres with the rear seat folded down.

The New C4 X blends elegant design with practical functionality and features:
- Second-row knee room: 19.8cm
- Backrest tilt: 27 degrees
- Exterior width: 180cm

POWERTRAINS: A RANGE TAILORED TO NEEDS

Promoting electrified solutions

New C4 and C4 X showcase Citroën's response to the opportunities electrification offers, providing efficient electrified powertrains that help customers move to electric. New C4 and C4 X will be available in hybrid and electric versions.

Hybrid 48V technology: Simplicity, versatility and low fuel consumption

Citroën is introducing two new hybrid powertrains: the Hybrid 136 for the New C4 and C4 X, and the Hybrid 100 for the New C4. These hybrids offer up to 20% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making them ideal for urban driving. The automatic management of the electric and internal combustion engines enhances driving comfort without requiring driver intervention. The Hybrid 136 features a 1199cc three-cylinder engine delivering 136bhp and a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor delivering 28bhp. The Hybrid 100 is based on the same technology but with 100bhp.

A finely calibrated 100% electric offering

The ë-C4 and ë-C4 X models offer multi-energy silhouettes, compact batteries, and rapid charging capabilities. The ë-C4 X has a 264-mile range for extra-urban travel, while the ë-C4 provides a 220-mile range for urban and suburban journeys.
