• Jeep® reports 193% growth in UK sales at end of 2024 ,as market share grows by 185%
• Over a quarter of all Jeep models sold in the UK in 2024 were pure electric
• Avenger, the 2023 European Car of the Year, contributed to strong growth
• Avenger benefits from ‘Freedom of Choice’ of powertrains including fully electric, hybrid and petrol variants
• 2025 promises to be another successful year for Jeep with the arrival in the UK of Avenger 4xe and the unveiling of new Compass

The Jeep® brand experienced a 193% increase in sales in the UK in 2024 compared to 2023, with market share rising 185% to 0.46%. In 2023, 26.09% of all Jeep models sold were pure electric. This strong performance was partly due to the success of the award-winning Avenger, which embodies the brand's core values of freedom and adventure, and was named European Car of The Year 2023.

Last year, Jeep opened 10 new retail sites in the UK and plans to expand further in 2025 to reduce drive time for customers. This year, new Avenger 4xe variants and the all-new Compass will be introduced.

Kristian Cholmondeley, Managing Director Jeep UK, said: “2024 was a year of strong growth for the Jeep brand, despite challenging market conditions, thanks to the efforts of our team across the country and the range and variety of products we offer. The launch of multiple powertrains on Avenger, supported by the wider line-up, gave us a fantastic offering that really resonated with our customers. This momentum will carry on in 2025 as we add Avenger 4xe, including an exciting partnership with The North Face, and new Compass to the lineup and continue our retailer expansion.”

In October, Jeep surpassed 100,000 sales in Europe, capturing a 1% share of the passenger car market. This achievement highlights Jeep's ability to adapt while staying true to its spirit of freedom and adventure.

The Jeep Avenger plays a significant role in the brand's success. It is the first fully electric SUV from Jeep and is also available in an e-Hybrid version, which features an automatic transmission and a fuel-efficient 1.2-liter petrol engine that delivers 100 horsepower. Additionally, the 4xe all-wheel-drive model is set to be released in 2025, making it the most capable Avenger to date and further enhancing the ‘Freedom of Choice’ offerings.
